In a very intense masterclass with Anna Redi (actress and acting coach), students from the Master’s program in Theater, Pedagogy, and Teaching at the University of Naples Suor Orsola Benincasa worked, as requested by the instructor, on Farīd ad-dīnʻAṭṭār’s famous Persian poem, “The Conference of the Birds.”

The text served as a vehicle for understanding how the ability to empathize can be primarily a physical rather than a mental act.

The masterclass was offered to students from the
Master’s program in Theater, Pedagogy, and Teaching: Methods, Techniques, and Practices of the Performing Arts
and the Master’s program in Performing Arts: Theater, Pedagogy, and Teaching, directed by Nadia Carlomagno.

This year’s theme: The Salvation of Beauty and Humanity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.
